Ministries

There are many opportunities to serve at St. Ann. We are each uniquely gifted for service, and there is a place for everyone! (Romans 12:6–8, 1 Corinthians 12:8–10) Getting involved is a great way to build friendships, as well. Volunteer here!

Safe and Sacred Code of Conduct

Liturgical/Worship

  • Perpetual Adoration – St. Ann Church as 24/7 worship of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Volunteers may sign up for a permanent hour during each week or serve as a substitute, when needed.
  • Liturgical Music – Traditional Choirs, Contemporary Music
  • Lectors – Scripture readings
  • Eucharistic Ministers – Assist with liturgy of the Eucharist
  • Ushers – Greet and assist, take collections, guide communion
  • Church Decoration – Decorating for Lent, Easter, Advent, and Christmas
  • Alter Society – Youth participation in the liturgy
  • Ride Service – Provides rides to church for those who are unable to drive.
  • Hospitality – Support for refreshments following Mass.

Faith Formation/Education

  • Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) – Teaching and support of teaching of the Catholic faith for children, ages 4-18.
  • Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) – Inquiry and faith formation in preparation for reception into the Church and sacraments.

Community Outreach/Social Justice

  • St. Ann Outreach – Emergency meals for any family in our community.
  • Legion of Mary – Visitation to homebound; communion, evangelism, encouragement
  • Knights of Columbus – Community outreach, fellowship, spiritual growth
  • Our Lady’s Visitor – Meals for families in need and during bereavement.
  • American Life League – Advocacy for the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.
  • Cenacle of Life Prayer Group – A devotion of fasting and Rosary prayer to end the culture of death.
