St. Ann Roman Catholic Church

Father Paul Kado is a native of the Fiji Islands.  He became Pastor at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church on January 1^st 2009.  The priesthood is actually a second career for Fr. Paul, who served as a religious brother for 18 years.  He was working as a youth chaplain when he began to feel the call to the priesthood, so he applied and was accepted.  Fr. Paul attended St. Patrick’s Seminary University in Menlo Park in 2001. He was ordained in May 2006. He then served 22 months at St. Mary’s in Visalia and eight months at St. Joseph’s in Bakersfield.  He is available for counseling by appointment.
