Dear Parents and Guardians,

We will have a Veteran’s Day celebration on Tuesday, November 10 at 2:00 pm. Please join us as we honor our heroes who sacrifice for all of us. If you are a military service member, we hope that you can participate. To help show our support to both our troops and Veterans, Student Council is sponsoring a “Show your colors day”. This means that students should wear patriotic socks, shirts and/or hats with their uniform bottoms tomorrow, November 10th.

Student Council is sponsoring a “Pounds for the Poor” contest. We are hoping to raise at least 200 pounds of food for the Saint Vincent De Paul Food Bank. Each grade will keep track of how many pounds they collect during the next two weeks (November 9th–20th) and the class with the most pounds brought in will win a Hot Cocoa & Cookie Party served by the Student Council Officers.

Our All Souls table continues to grow. The children have brought more pictures of relatives and shared special items they have made. The children may continue to bring items in until the end of November.

God bless,

Susan McDonald
