Wind and Plants

Science Fair this year was different. We were broken up into groups of three. I was put with two girls that were very nice and helpful. We did the experiment in the classroom and we had no homework for Science which was nice. We had two weeks to conduct the experiment.
Every group had to come up with six topics and twelve questions, two for each topic. We each chose one topic that we liked the best. One of my group members and I liked one of the topics and the other group member liked another one. To be fair, I said, "Hey, we should do the experiment that no one chose since we can't agree." My group members said, "Okay, that's probably a good idea!" That's how we came up with the experiment Does Wind Affect A Plant's Height?
Before we conducted the experiment, we had to set it up:

• labled the plants
• watered them with 50 ml of water
• turned the fan in front of one of the plants on high, the next one on medium, last one on low, and the last plant didn't have wind
• next, we would measure it and record the height.
• We watered the plants every three days.

The experiment was easy, besides trying to measure the plants. Since the plants didn't grow that much it was hard to measure the height, I liked doing our experiment. It was fun working with my partners.
