In science,.....
our class had to do a science project. Each group had to think of twelve experiment ideas then narrow the twelve ideas to three. After we narrowed to three, we narrowed to one. My group decided on growing plants with soda."we should grow plants with soda!"
I was with two other classmates and we all agreed on this experiment. We first made a list of procedures and materials. Then with teacher's permission we started our experiment.
We first needed to supply our materials:- We needed six of the same plant (we used Philodendron)
- Orange soda
- Sprite
- measuring cups
- ruler
- control is water
Our procedures were:- get supplies
- label each plant and the longest stem on each plant according to the liquid we were going to water it with
- everyday, water the plants according to the label
- wait about a week and be sure to water the plant with the same liquid every day
- record your results
- presented work on a board.
When my project was done, I moved my work to the Parish Center. The date I did this was February 15, 2007 and the location was 446 W. Church St., Ridgecrest, CA 93555. The phone number is 375-4713. Go back to the top
