  • Our 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social was an enjoyable evening for families and staff members. As usual, our students were very entertaining as they sang and played their instruments. Thank you to Doloris Coit at Baskin Robbins for giving us the ice cream at a discounted price.

  • On behalf of all the staff, parents, and students of Saint Ann School, I would like to thank (and bid a sad farewell to) Vic Walkling, our retiring PTG President. Vic gave us many years of his energy, leadership and vision as he worked tirelessly for our school. Parents like Vic give our students the best possible example of Christian service.

  • At the PTG meeting, the returning PTG officers were re-elected by acclamation. Greg Perry, this year's Vice President, is stepping up to be President. Other returning officers are: Mary Anders as Secretary, Suzanne Cordes as Treasurer, Darlene Hunsinger as Parent Participation Coordinator, and Missy Walkling as Scrip Program Coordinator. We have had one person offer to be Vice President for next year -- if you are interested in this position, please contact me by tomorrow, May 10.

  • Mrs. Miller will be hosting a Kindergarten Information Night for anyone interested in learning about Saint Ann School's kindergarten program. Please encourage friends, acquaintances and co-workers who have pre-school age children to attend from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 12, in the kindergarten classroom. Remember that although we particularly would like parishioners to enroll their children, we welcome children of all faiths.

  • Some of you have already signed up to work at the Luau / Casino Night on May 21. The schedule will now be given to the Room Mothers to fill in with parents from each class. This fundraiser is very important because we hope it will fulfill the rest of the PTG obligation for this year. Families who will be charged for not meeting their parent participation obligation may apply hours worked at the Luau / Casino Night to this year's obligation. We are also asking each family to distribute or post appropriately the two enclosed blue flyers advertising this event. Please don't forget to return the money and unsold raffle and dinner tickets to the School Office by May 17.

  • The 16th Annual Saint Ann Basketball Tournament was held last week. We would like to congratulate our Saint Ann teams and their coaches for a great season and an exciting tournament. The girls placed second and the boys placed fourth in the tournament. Congratulations especially to our “All-Tournament Players” - Jerry Tuipala, Jordan Gamboa, Collette Roberto, and Audry Blubaugh.

  • Our annual Athletics Celebration will be on Tuesday, May 17, at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. If your child played basketball or volleyball this year, mark your calendars for this date. Coaches, players, and players' families are welcome to join us for this celebration. Cake and punch will be provided. Please remember to return your uniforms either at this event or to the office (trophies will only be handed out to players who have returned their uniforms).

  • Enclosed is a large envelope containing information about SchoolPop's Supply & Earn program. This program gives you the opportunity to purchase the majority of your child(ren)'s school supplies for next year (while earning 10% of your purchase towards your scrip obligation). Please review the material . . . and we will send more information next week about how to place your order if you are interested.

  • Thank you for picking up your Masterpiece Cookie Dough orders so promptly. This fundraiser was very successful. Students who earned a turn in the Money Machine were: Jerry Tuipala ($23), Robert Duncan ($18), Collette Roberto ($43), Brandon Hunsaker ($11), and Samantha Harrison / Shannon Stephenson ($16). Their parents also won weekend getaways.

  • We still have some frozen fish available if you would like to purchase some at our cost of $2.59/lb.

  • Reminders-
    • Tuition is due by tomorrow, May 10.
    • Late registration forms and fees are still being accepted
