Weekly Notes from the Principal's Desk. . .
January 3, 2005
- Welcome back-and Happy New Year! I hope that you all enjoyed the Christmas break and that you were able to capture a sense of peace and joy as you celebrated our Lord's birth and the beginning of a brand new year.
- We are excited about a wonderful Christmas present the school received over the break-a new roof for the north building of the elementary school. It came just in time for what appears to be a wet winter. Thanks, Fr. Bob!
- Please remember to send a red sweatshirt with your child each day. It is quite cool in the classrooms, especially first thing in the morning. Students need to “layer up” to keep warm.
- Again we would like to thank all the people who worked so hard to create the marvelous Christmas Program on December 13. The students worked very hard to prepare, and it certainly showed! Mrs. Stenger-Smith, Mrs. Huntoon,
Mrs. Veit, and Mrs. Tennant worked with our students on the music. Our teachers, of course, helped the students as they prepared their parts. Thanks to Mrs. Blubaugh for the curtain for the stage and Mrs. Ostrom and Ms. Gibbs for their help with costumes. Mrs. Escallier helped students prepare the handouts. Mr. Wojociewski prepared an excellent DVD of the program for families. Many parents contributed baked goods for the reception. Other generous people helped with the program, too many to mention here. Together you offered a beautiful gift to the Lord!
- Reminder-Tuition is due by next Monday, January 10.
