• On Saturday, May 15, we will have our last big fundraiser during the school year-the Luau Dinner and Casino Night. One way we were able to keep the tuition increase to a minimum was to count on this fundraiser to meet a budgeted obligation of $6,000. It is, therefore, imperative for families to do their best to sell or buy the tickets that they received in last week's Monday Envelope. We hope you'll buy tickets for your own family. We would love to see you there! Remember, one raffle ticket is only $20.00 for a chance to win a trip to Hawaii or $3,000.00 cash! I know this comes at a time when registration fees have just been paid, but we must meet this obligation to operate within our budget. We are also counting on families to support this fundraiser as much as possible. You can do this by taking a shift either in set-up/preparation, serving dinner, running the casino games, or clean-up. Room parents will be contacting every family to schedule shifts for working this fundraiser.

• Our second grade students will receive First Holy Communion this coming Saturday at 10:00 AM. Please join us for this special occasion.

• The fifth grade boys basketball team will play Faller at 5:15 PM on Tuesday. This will be their final game of the season. Please join us to cheer them on.

• The fifth grade girls basketball team will play Gateway at 5:15 PM on Tuesday. We are tied for first place with Gateway. This playoff game will see who wins for the regular season!

• The fifth grade basketball teams still have about 20 headbands left to sell for their Sweatband Fundraiser. You may purchase a headband for $8.00 in the School Office or at Tuesday's girls game.

• School Advisory Meeting will be tonight at 7:00 PM in the school library.

• Mark your calendars for the Ice Cream Social to be held on Thursday, May 6, at 6:30 PM. This will be a fun time for families to get together and visit (with no obligation to work or pay anything!). There will be several student performances and a short PTG election of officers for next year. We hope to see you there!

• Congratulations to our Airport Art Contest First Place Winners: Eve Christman, Jennifer Kandell, Kevin LaBrie, Joanna Marie Makepeace, Leah Ostermann, Jordon Smith and Kim Wegener.

• Thank you to everyone who supported the Masterpiece fundraiser either by selling, buying or organizing-especially our wonderful coordinator Mrs. Hutto. Students who sold 30 items or more participated in the “Money Grab. We made over $5,000 for the school and the students went home with some exciting prizes.

• Reminder: Macbeth DVD orders are due no later than end of day this Friday, April 30.

• Reminder: Next Monday, May 3, is a minimum day with 11:30 AM dismissal. Teachers will be involved in planning for next year.
