Weekly Notes from the Principal's Desk. . .

• I hope that you all had a restful, enjoyable Easter Recess.

• ·Reminder-To get your yearbook at the early bird price of $18.00 per copy, orders must be placed by April 23. After Apr 23, the price goes up to $21.00 per copy.

• Masterpiece Cookie Dough orders must be picked up between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Friday, April 23. Remember that these items are perishable, and there is not freezer space to save your orders if you do not pick them up. Thank you for supporting our school by taking part in this profitable fundraiser. Students who sold more than 30 items will have an opportunity to “jump” for money during a special assembly on Friday at 1:30 PM. This fundraiser was very successful and we thank all parents and students for all their hard work. Thank you Mrs. Hutto for your time organizing and coordinating this fundraiser.

• Registration forms are due this Friday, April 23. Please speak to me in advance if you would like to request a payment schedule for your registration fees.

• Financial aid applications for next year are due tomorrow, Tuesday, April 20. Please consider filling out an application for assistance even if you think you might not qualify for aid. You never know until you try!

• If you haven't turned in your Rice Bowls yet, you may still do so. We'd like to forward the proceeds to Catholic Relief Services as soon as possible.

• I would like to thank all the participants who helped make our seder meal such a moving experience for all. Mrs. Rockdale, Mrs. Black, Mrs. Pogge, and the 5th grade performers did an excellent job pulling all this together.

• Our 5th grade boys basketball team will play Inyokern at 5:15 PM on Tuesday, and the girls will play Faller at 4:15 on Friday. Join us for both games at the Kerr-McGee Center and help us cheer on these talented young people.

• Chess Club will meet on Friday, April 23, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Please let us know if your child will not be attending.

• The Family Luau Dinner and Casino Night is scheduled for Saturday, May 15. Enclosed is an envelope with raffle tickets and a dinner ticket that have been assigned to your family. We would like you to try to sell these tickets. We appreciate your support by selling tickets to family, friends and co-workers.

• Mark your calendar for the Fifteenth Annual Saint Ann Basketball Tournament. It is scheduled for Thursday, May 13, through Saturday, May 15, in the James Monroe Gym. We need volunteers for scorekeepers and timekeepers. Please contact the office (375-4713) if you are interested in helping.

• Reminder: School Advisory Meeting, next Monday, April 26 at 7:00 PM in the school library.
