Weekly Notes from the Principal's Desk. . .

March 15, 2004

  • All next week, March 22 - 26, we will have 11:30 AM dismissals for Parent-Teacher Conferences. For parents of elementary students, if you did not scheduled your conference by last Friday, you will find an enclosed notice with an assigned date and time.

  • Father Bob and I anticipate that registration information will be distributed in approximately 3 weeks. A registration fee of $300 per child will be due on or before April 23 (Flex Friday). A late fee of an additional $50.00 will be charged if the registration fee is paid after this date. If you are not able to pay the full $300 per child by April 23, please contact Mrs. Little to set up a payment schedule. Tuition assistance applications will be available at the time that the registration information is distributed.

  • The fifth grade boys and girls basketball teams played their first games last week. They played very well! This week the boys will play Gateway School on Tuesday, March 16, at 4:15 PM. The girls will play Gateway on Friday, March 19, at 4:15 PM. Both games are at the Kerr-McGee Center. Please join us to cheer them on!

  • St. Patrick's Day is this Wednesday, March 17. Students are invited to wear green tops with the uniform pants, shorts, skirts or skorts. Student Council will provide shamrocks for all students and teach them a few steps to a traditional Irish Jig at lunchtime.

We look forward to raising even more money this year. Students will receive the sales packets next Monday. See the enclosed flyer for more details.

  • Please join us this Friday, March 12, for school Mass at 8:15 AM and for the Stations of the Cross at 1:30 PM. Thank you for continuing to make the observance of Lent a priority in your home. If we can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.

  • This Friday and each Friday in Lent (except Good Friday) is our delicious Fish Fry! Fish and Chips (french fries), coleslaw, lemonade and coffee are served from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. Large serving: $5.50 Small serving: $4.50
