Weekly Notes from the Principal's Desk. . .
March 8, 2004
- This Friday, March 12, will be a minimum day … dismissal at 11:30 AM. The teachers will attend an in-service workshop on campus.
- If you have not yet signed-up for your Parent-Teacher Conference time, please come to the office by this Friday, March 12. The earlier you come in, the more options for day and time you have! Conferences are a very important communication tool for both parents and teachers.
- Our Middle School basketball team had an exciting season! Congratulations players:
Katie Anders, Victoria Avalos, Mary Champeny, Amanda Cordes, Chelsea Danhauser, Phoebe Danhuser, Meagan LaFromboise, Amy Linck, Katrina Long, Maggie Marvin, Kristen McKnight, Aurora Ostrom, JulieStenger-Smith, Ashley Strand, Kira Tyson, Jessica Vigil, Kimberly Wegener, Alex Winterly, Austin Blubaugh, Jay Gifford, Tommy Hagen, Neal Kollman, Michael Krammer, Patrick Lilly, and Jarrod May.
- The fifth grade boys and girls basketball teams have their first games this week. The girls will play Faller School on Tuesday, March 9, at 4:15 PM. The boys will play Faller School on Friday, March 12, at 5:15 PM. Both games are at Kerr-McGee Center. Please join us to cheer them on!
- Next Wednesday, March 17, is St. Patrick's Day. Students are invited to wear green tops with the uniform pants, short and skorts. Student Council will provide shamrocks for the students and teach them how to do a traditional Irish Jig at lunch-time.
- There will be a PTG meeting on Thursday, March 11 at 7:00 PM. We will meet in the School Library.
- Please join us this Friday, March 12 for school Mass at 8:15 AM and for Stations of the Cross at 11:00 AM.
- Chess Club will not meet during March due to the early dismissals on Flex Fridays.
- Please join us this Friday and each Friday in Lent (except Good Friday) for Fish Fry!
Fish and Chips (french fries), coleslaw, lemonade and coffee are served from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. Large serving: $5.50 Small serving: $4.50
- Part of Lenten observance is giving to the poor. The proceeds from the Fish Fry Bake Sales will go to help Fr. Fath in his missionary work! If you would like to contribute baked goods, please bring them to the school any Fish Fry Friday.
- Please note the calendar for holidays and minimum days coming up. Our schedule is different than the public school schedule.
- Reminder: Tuition is due no later than Wednesday, March 10.
