• Student Council will sponsor Christmas Spirit Day this Wednesday, December 17. Students may wear Santa hats, reindeer antlers, Christmas socks/ tights, and Christmas shirts/sweatshirts with their uniform pants/shorts/skorts.

• The Children's Bazaar is on Thursday, December 11, and Friday, December 12. The children will visit the bazaar during the school day. Please see the flyer (with a special envelope) in today's Monday Envelope for more details.

• The Christmas Program is this Tuesday, December 16! Students are asked to report to their classrooms by 5:45 PM. The program will begin at 6:00 PM. The students have been preparing their performance, and we look forward to sharing it with you. Special thanks to Mrs. Pogge for all her hard work. Don't forget, there will be cookies and punch in the Parish Center after the program. Please check with your room parent about bringing treats.

• For last minute Christmas gifts, consider buying scrip gift certificates. You receive profit toward your scrip obligation, and your friend or family member receives a great gift.

• We still have See's Candy, pies and pumpkin rolls! These also make great gifts. Come into the office or call Gloria Avalos to make arrangements for pick-up.

• November and December, months in which we give thanks to God for our many blessings, provide a special opportunity for our students. We encourage students to bring non-perishable items and/or monetary donations to their classrooms for the Saint Vincent DePaul food pantry. Matthew's statements: “For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink” are enlivened when we teach our children Christian service.

• Please join us for Mass at 8:15 AM this Friday. Our Christmas break begins with 10:00 dismissal on Friday morning.

• Have a wonderful holiday with family and friends. We will see you all again on Monday, January 5, 2004!
