Today we remember the Immaculate Conception of Mary. We celebrate our belief that Mary was full of God's grace from the first moment of life-at her conception . God planned from the beginning of time to ask Mary to cooperate in his plan of salvation. Are we willing to cooperate with God's plan for us? (If you missed early masses today, there is a Mass at St. Ann Church at 5:30 PM.)
The Children's Bazaar is on Thursday, December 11, and Friday, December 12. The children will visit the bazaar during the school day. Please see the flyer (with a special envelope) in today's Monday Envelope for more details.
December is a good month for sharing our many blessings with families in our community who are in need. We encourage our students to bring non-perishable items and/or monetary donations (perhaps in the form of scrip) to their classroom teacher any time this week or next week. These donations will be given to the Saint Vincent DePaul food pantry for distribution. Thank you for showing your child that he/she is not too young to change someone's life in some small way.
The Uniform Exchange process will be organized and managed by Mrs. Jenny Hunsaker. We will no longer keep uniforms in the office; she will keep them at her home instead. Please contact her should you want to make an exchange or purchase ($3 shirts, $5 pants/skorts). Thank you Mrs. Hunsaker!
Please consider scrip for gift giving this year!
The Christmas Program is next Tuesday, December 16. Students are asked to report to their classrooms by 5:45 PM. The program will begin at 6:00 PM. When the program is over, all children will return to their classrooms. Please pick up your child(ren) in the classroom immediately after the program. ALL costumes must be left in the classrooms. We look forward to sharing this special holiday tradition with you.
Please remember that each class is responsible to bring 10 dozen cookies to the Parish Center for a celebration after the Christmas Program.
Please remember that as you turn in your Albertson's grocery receipts showing the Community Partner card number, only turn in receipts dated April 1 or later. Any earlier receipts (March 2003 or earlier) cannot be accepted because the scrip year begins the first of April.
Reminder: Tuition is due no later than December 10.
Pies, pumpkin rolls and See's Candy are still available.
I hope these busy holidays are enjoyable and peaceful for your families.
