| A Christian Community in the Roman Catholic Tradition |
St. Ann Roman Catholic Church |

| Contents | Our youth, who provide enthusiasm and inspiration
to the whole parish, are a vital part of our parish community. St.
Ann's ministries to the youth reach out to ages 5 through 19 years old.
Each ministry seeks to establish a faith community, to teach Christian
values and Catholic doctrine, and to be open to God in His revelation through
teaching, prayer and worship.
CCD Program: The CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) Program
reaches out to children in grades K through 8, and High School (Teen Ministry Sunday)
reaches out to young adults in high school grades 9 through 12, who are
not enrolled in St. Ann's school. Each week approximately 25 volunteers
work to develop and teach a course of study based on a curriculum outlined
by the Diocese of Fresno. CCD classes are taught on Sunday mornings
from September through May at 9:15 to 10:15 AM and High School classes are taught
mid-day Sunday, 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM. Volunteer teachers, who support
this program, are trained through workshops provided at the Religious Education
Congress held in Anaheim, CA each year. Contact: Patricia Walters at 375-2110. All meetings are in the Parish Hall. We welcome all senior high school youth with open arms and encourage them to discover with us a community of support and acceptance. Contact: Theresa Wheeler at 375-2110. Vacation Bible School: Vacation Bible School provides a fun and
innovative way to enhance a child's understanding of the Bible. Held
during June, children and youth in grades K through 5 have the opportunity
to participate in a classroom setting or in a play production. Contact: Patricia Walters at 375-2110.
